Bettina is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. She has been playing music since she was a child, but became a publicly performing musician in 2002. Since that time she has performed with several bands: Rocky Creek, Blackthorn and Laurel, Finnegan’s Irish Stew, Drab Irish Band, Two Unicorns, and occasionally she performs percussion with Dulahan. Her solo career has spanned many years as well,  and includes several genres including traditional Celtic, folk, classic rock and modern tunes as well as original material.

Bettina’s musical style is heavily influenced by musicians such as Loreena McKennitt, Alison Krauss, Sarah McLachlan, Enya, Blackmore’s Night and Nightwish. Her skillful autoharp playing coupled with her ethereal, angelic vocals delights audiences of all ages. While the autoharp is Bettina’s primary instrument, you may also see her perform with lap dulcimer, bowed psaltery, bodhran, and various other percussion instruments.

Embracing her Scots/Irish and German heritage, she brings a unique mix of flavors to her songwriting and performance style.
